SAVANNAH –Savannah Police detectives are investigating a May 14 shooting in the 400 block of East 39th Street that left one adult male a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Officers responded to the scene at around 9:10 p.m. based on ShotSpotter reports. Police conducted a canvas of the area, locating the victim and an unoccupied vehicle with ballistics damage. The victim was treated on the scene and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Detectives were able to interview numerous witnesses on the scene and collect evidence. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020.
