Savannah – The Savannah Police Department is investigating a Sept. 3 shooting in the 20 block of Bridgestone Ln. that left a male juvenile with a non-life-threatening injury.
At approximately 11:15 p.m., officers responded to the scene based on ShotSpotter reports and immediately began to canvas the area, where they found evidence of gunfire. No property damage was located.
SPD officers discovered the victim in a commercial establishment in the 1900 block of E. Victory Dr., where he had retreated from the scene. EMS responded and transported him to Memorial Health University Medical Center for treatment.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
