Savannah – The Savannah Police Department is investigating an Oct. 26 shooting in the 1200 block of E. 71st St. that left one adult male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Officers arrived at the residence at around 1:50 p.m. on reports of a shooting and conducted an initial investigation. It was determined that Keith King, 46, was shot in apparent self-defense following an altercation with a female resident at the home. He was charged with simple assault and criminal trespass.
King was transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center for treatment of his gunshot wound.
