SAVANNAH –Savannah Police detectives are investigating a May 16 shooting in the 1100 block of East 59th Street that left one adult male with serious injuries.
Officers responded to the scene at around 12:40 a.m. on reports of shooting. Upon arrival they learned the victim had self-transferred himself to Memorial University Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers were able to interview numerous witnesses and collect evidence at the scene. No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with info should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020.
