Savannah – The Savannah Police Department is investigating a Nov. 3 shooting in the 10000 block of Abercorn St. that left an adult male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg.
Southside Precinct Officers responded to the scene at around 6:15 p.m. based on ShotSpotter reports and discovered the wounded man. The initial investigation determined that he was struck by gunfire that came from an approaching vehicle before fleeing the area. First aid was provided, and the victim was transported to Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
