Savannah – The Savannah Police Department is investigating a Nov. 12 shooting in the 1000 block of Rogers St. that resulted in non-life-threatening injury to an adult female.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 3:00 p.m. based on ShotSpotter reports and discovered the victim with a gunshot wound to the wrist. The initial investigation determined that two groups had been shooting at each another; the victim was an unintended target. She was transported by EMS to Memorial Hospital for treatment.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
