SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department has arrested Kierra Fields, 33, in connection with the June 30 domestic homicide in the 10000 block of Abercorn Street. Fields have been charged with involuntary manslaughter.
Police responded to the scene based on reports of a shooting. Once on the scene officers discovered the adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Chatham EMS responded to the scene and attempted to render aid, however he succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing. The Savannah Police Department asks anyone with information on the case to contact CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020.
