UPDATE (Aug. 17, 2021): Kareem Harris was booked into the Chatham County jail on Aug. 16.
UPDATE (July 23, 2021): SPD has arrested two subjects and two others are being sought in the investigation into a July 11 shooting at Ellis Square.
On July 21, officers arrested Onrico Solomon, 37, on charges of terroristic acts and threats in connection to the shooting. Allegra Harris, 30, has also been charged with felony false statements in connection to the investigation.
Detectives are continuing to seek Kareem Harris, 37, who is wanted on charges of aggravated assault.
In addition, detectives are seeking the public’s assistance locating another suspect. The unidentified black male was seen on surveillance footage. In the footage he was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.

UPDATE (July 15, 2021): Through a continued investigation, SPD’s Major Crimes Unit has identified a suspect in the July 11 shooting in Ellis Square that injured a 37-year-old man.

SAVANNAH, GA (July 13, 2021) – SPD detectives continue to investigate a shooting in Ellis Square early July 11 that resulted in injuries to a 37-year-old Pooler man.
Around 3:20 a.m. officers were patrolling in the downtown area near City Market when they heard gunshots coming from Ellis Square. Officers were quickly able to respond to the scene and discover evidence of the incident. Soon after the victim, Onrico Solomon, arrived by private vehicle at Memorial Medical Center with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Detectives believe the investigation stemmed from a disagreement between two parties that dangerously and needlessly escalated from a verbal altercation to an aggravated assault. Detectives continue the process of identifying all subjects involved in the incident.
