SAVANNAH, GA (July 5, 2022): Savannah Police detectives have charged two teens in a July 3 shooting on Barnard Street.
Around 11:50 p.m. July 3, officers responded to Barnard Street for a shooting and discovered two teenage males suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Through the investigation, it was determined that the teens, ages 15 and 16, had been involved in an argument before both drew weapons and started shooting, resulting in both sustaining injuries.
The 16-year-old was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a juvenile. The 15-year-old was charged with possession of a firearm by a juvenile.
