SAVANNAH, GA (July 25, 2022): Savannah Police detectives have arrested a suspect in a July 20 shooting on Pennsylvania Avenue that resulted in injuries to a 13-year-old.
Around 2:40 p.m. July 20 officers responded to the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue for a shooting and located a teen boy suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries.
The investigation led detectives to identify the suspect as 32-year-old Kwasi Koby Perry. Detectives determined that two had been involved in an ongoing dispute that led to the shooting.
Perry was booked into the Chatham County jail on July 22 on charges of aggravated assault and cruelty to children first degree.
