SAVANNAH, GA (February 16, 2021) – Three men have been charged in a Feb. 13 shooting that injured one man.
Dajshon Hudson, 18; Jamond Reid, 19; and Jatwone Reid, 20, were arrested on charges of aggravated assault, fleeing or attempting to elude, theft by receiving stolen property, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Around 10 p.m. Feb. 13 officers in the area of Waters Avenue and E. 37th Street heard gunfire and immediately saw a vehicle fleeing the area. The vehicle continued to flee until it crashed near the 1800 block of Habersham Street. The three occupants attempted to flee on foot but were captured by officers.
Soon after in the vicinity of the initial shooting location, officers located a 40-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg. He was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The case remains under active investigation.
