SAVANNAH, GA (February 16, 2022) – Savannah Police detectives are investigating a Feb. 12 shooting that resulted in the death of a 15-year-old victim.
Around 7:20 p.m. Feb. 12 officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 1100 block of E. 54th Street and discovered Burnell Scott suffering with gunshot wounds.
Scott was transported to Memorial Medical Center for treatment of life-threatening injuries. On Feb. 15, he died as a result of his injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
