Savannah – The Savannah Police Department arrested Joseph Gonzalez, 30, and Damian Flower, 34, on Sept. 20. They have been charged with interference with government property and criminal trespassing.
At approximately 3:22 a.m., officers observed the two suspects actively tagging buildings and city signs with spray paint along Congress St., between Franklin Square and Ellis Square. Both suspects were taken into custody without incident and booked into the Chatham County Jail.
The Savannah Police Department has notified the City of Savannah Government to begin the process of having the graffiti removed.
