UPDATE: Mr. Thomas was located at approximately 4 p.m. Wednesday by an SCMPD officer.
SAVANNAH, GA (October 14, 2015) –Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police are searching for an elderly man with dementia.
Isaac Mitchell, 76, was last seen around 1:30 p.m. at 2307 LaRoche Avenue. He is a black male, 5’8” tall, weighs approximately 150 pounds and is wearing a gray and green stripe shirt, blue jogging pants and a red hat.
SCMPD officers are canvassing the area on foot and in patrol cars, the aviation unit has also responded and CEMA is in route.
Anyone who sees Mitchell or who has information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
