SAVANNAH, GA ( October 3, 2011) Motorcycle accident on Savannah’s
Southside sends a man to the hospital.
Just before 10 a.m., officers responded to an accident with injuries involving a
motorcycle at Mall Way and Whitebluff Road. SCMPD’s MAIT team was called out and determined that Christopher Ratliff, 26, was traveling northbound on Whitebluff Road on a Suzuki motorcycle.

Barrett Patout, 24, was traveling east on Mall Way after leaving the shopping center on White Bluff Road
in a GMC pick-up truck, and was crossing over White Bluff Road on a green light
when he was struck by the motorcycle. Ratliff was ejected from his motorcycle
and was transported to Memorial Health Medical Center with life threatening
injuries. Patout was not injured in the accident.
