SAVANNAH,GA ( June 4, 2012) Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two men who robbed a sandwich shop, struck the manager and ordered employees to the floor Friday night.
The men entered the Baldinos submarine shop on the 1800 block of East Victory Drive about 11:30 p.m. while the store was being prepped for closing. They pointed hand guns at the store manager, forced him, three other employees and a visitor to the floor in the back of the restaurant and stuck the manager in the head with a gun.
The men filled a bag with cash and ran from the store. Cash trays taken from the register were found behind the store.
The gunmen were black, one wearing a long-sleeve, white shirt with a 47 on the back, white pants and black and white basketball shoes. The second was wearing a light green camouflage jacket and blue denim shorts. Both wore white gloves and had black shirts covering their faces.
