SAVANNAH, GA (December 28, 2015): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes detectives are investigating a shooting that injured a man on the East 38th and Paulsen streets late Saturday night.
Just before 9:35 p.m. Metro responded to a ShotSpotter alert at that location. Once on-scene, officers found Gary Spencer, 53, with a gunshot wound. Spencer was transported to Memorial University Medical Center in critical condition.
Events leading up to this shooting remain under investigation. Detectives are working to identify suspects.
