SAVANNAH, GA (September 19, 2016): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department is investigating an attempted robbery and shooting on Monday, Sept. 19 on the 2300 block of Bull Street.
When Metro officers responded to the scene at about 1:45 a.m., shooting victim, Sid Law, 27, had been driven to Memorial University Medical Center in a privately owned vehicle. He sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Reportedly, Law was entering a van with friends outside of a nightclub when three male subjects exited an SUV demanding their belongings. The driver of the van attempted to drive away when shots were fired into the vehicle, injuring Law. The driver of the van transported Law to MUMC. No other injuries were reported.
The suspects are described as three black males wearing hoodies and face coverings. One suspect had dreadlocks. The suspects arrived in a gold late 90s to early 2000s model Ford Expedition.
