SAVANNAH, GA (December 1, 2017) – On November 30, the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force worked in conjunction with the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department to arrest a man wanted for attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
James Williams, 43, was wanted for a shooting incident that took place in Beaufort County, South Carolina.
Through the gathering of intelligence, officers determined Williams was in Savannah. They responded to the 2200 block of East Victory Drive and took him into custody without incident. Williams is being held in the Chatham County Detention Center for his charges of attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, pending extradition to South Carolina.
