SAVANNAH, GA (June 21, 2015): Homicide Investigators are seeking witnesses to a shooting that left a 17-year-old Savannah male dead in a stolen car Saturday night.
Jamell Dwayne Law of the 4000 block of Columbia Avenue was found in a red Dodge Neon. He was being attended to by neighbors but soon after was declared dead at the scene.
The car had crashed on West 41st Street at the end of Harden Street where it driven into the steps of a vacant house at 10:31 p.m. The Neon had been reported stolen from a commercial burglary Thursday night.
Several males were seen leaving the vehicle after the crash.
The neighborhood was crowded at the time and detectives are hoping more witnesses will come forward with details of the shooting and descriptions of those seen leaving the area.
