SAVANNAH, GA. (January 31, 2014): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police are turning to the public to help find family members of a 59-year-old homeless man killed after he was struck by a pickup truck Thursday night.
Officers from Metro’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) have exhausted all avenues to find relatives of David Lee Marks who died after the 8:30 p.m. accident.
He was pushing a shopping cart across the west bound lanes of East President Street when he walked into the path of a Ford F-150 driven by a 25-year-old Savannah woman. He was clad in dark clothing.
Marks was transported to Memorial University Medical Center where he died.
