Mission:
The Family Violence Unit is responsible for investigating and overseeing cases involving intimate partners, family or household members. The detectives establish all the facts by collecting evidence and supporting statements from victims and witnesses.
The Savannah Police Department formed the Family Violence Unit in January 2019 to make certain that those who choose to use violence against their partner or family are held responsible for their actions.
