SAVANNAH, GA (December 16, 2014) – ) As part of Central Precinct’s Celebrate the Season, Crime Prevention Officers brought some good will and good cheer to the young ones at the Wesley Community Center. Crime Prevention Officers APO Dana Knight and APO Barry Lewis along with Mrs. Laverne Lexie delivered Christmas bags and donated toys to the center. The toys are learning items that are to be used in each classroom. The toys were part of the toy drive held at a local business in the River Street area for SCMPD.
The kids loved taking pictures with officers and tearing into the gifts that were presented. They were full of laughter and all smiles.
