SAVANNAH, GA (September 30, 2014): The FBI, with assistance from Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department, is searching for a man who robbed a credit union on Savannah’s south side today.
The robbery occurred just before 4 p.m. at Georgia’s Own Credit Union, on the 400 block of Mall Boulevard. At that time, an armed man entered the credit union and demanded cash from credit union employees who complied. The suspect then fled with an undisclosed sum of cash.
The FBI continues to investigate this incident.
The suspect is described as a clean shaven black male, standing about 6 feet tall and weighing roughly 220 pounds. He wore a black skull cap, black sun glasses, a black long sleeve shirt and black pants.
