SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department has arrested a male juvenile in connection to an armed robbery and carjacking that occurred on Feb. 7, 2026, in the 100 block of Albion St.
At approximately 3:15 p.m., officers responded to the scene in reference to reports of an armed robbery and carjacking. Upon arrival they discovered the victim, a food delivery worker, who advised investigators that the suspect robbed them of their vehicle at gunpoint. The vehicle was later found by police and recovered.
A male juvenile was identified by police as the suspect on Feb. 11. He was charged with hijacking a motor vehicle, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a person under 18 years old, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and armed robbery. He was transported to the Savannah Regional Youth Detention Center.
