SAVANNAH — The Savannah Police Department has arrested a male juvenile in connection with the armed robbery of two food delivery drivers.
On Feb. 11, investigators identified the suspect and took him into custody for an armed robbery that occurred Feb. 7 in the 100 block of Albion Street. He was charged with hijacking a motor vehicle, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm by a person under 18 years of age.
While in custody, the juvenile was also charged in connection with an armed robbery that occurred Jan. 28 in the 1100 block of Crescent Drive. In that case, he faces additional charges of armed robbery, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm by a person under 18 years of age.
He remains in custody at the Regional Youth Detention Center.
