SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department has arrested Jakobie Johnson in connection with an April 3 shooting in the 1800 block of Victory Dr. that left one adult male deceased.
Officers responded to the scene at around 5 p.m. on reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, police discovered the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Life-saving measures were taken but the victim ultimately succumbed to his injuries on scene. Johnson was identified as a suspect and taken into custody near the scene.
Johnson has been charged with murder and aggravated assault.
