SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department has made an arrest in connection to two attempted armed robberies on May 22, which targeted commercial establishments in the 700 block of Stephenson Ave. and the 1000 block of Eisenhower Dr.
Officers from SPD responded to the scene at the CVS on Stephenson Ave. at approximately 9:15 a.m. based on reports of an attempted armed robbery. The armed suspect, a juvenile male, fled the scene.
The suspect attempted a second unsuccessful robbery at Savannah RX on Eisenhower Dr., and was detained there by officers at approximately 9:30 a.m.
SPD arrested the juvenile male suspect for armed robbery and transported him to Chatham County’s Regional Youth Detention Center.
