SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department is investigating an April 5 fatal shooting in the 800 block of Tatem Street that left one adult male deceased.
Officers responded to the scene at around 10:45 p.m. based on ShotSpotter reports. Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim ultimately succumbed to his injuries. Officers interviewed several witnesses and collected evidence at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
