Mission & Vision
“Where Re-Entry Meets Reintegration”
As a pertinent part of community engagement, we will be the catalyst for providing quality resources to the community while encouraging self-development and educational growth through community partnerships.
At the Savannah Impact Program, it is our vision to become the entrusted entity for community relations by way of consistency and commitment through a unified approach.

Savannah Impact Program
The following initiatives are organized and run by the SPD’s Savannah Impact Program Division.
Police Athletic/Activities League (PAL)
The Police Athletic/Activities League is a nationally recognized program in which members of the police force coach youth ages 5 to 12 in sports, help with homework and provide mentoring services. The purpose is to build character, help strengthen police-community relations, and keep children safe.
Girl Connection
Established in 2024 by Officer Jhamiyah Davis with support from local school counselors and community partners, this program focuses on uplifting and mentoring young women, helping them build a strong foundation for their future.
Young Men Stand
The mission of the Young Men Stand Mentorship Program is to empower, inspire, and equip young men in our community with the guidance, support, and skills necessary to become confident, responsible, and purpose-driven leaders. Through meaningful mentorship and positive male role models, we strive to promote personal growth, academic success, and long-term life achievement.
Kids Spring & Summer Camp
The Savannah Impact Program annually sponsors both a Kids Spring Break Camp and Kids Summer Camp to provide youth ages 8 to 14 with alternatives to risky or criminal behavior during spring and summer break. These camps combine character building and safety sessions along with field trips and lots of fun activities. Lunch and snacks are provided.
Beyond the Badge: Girls Police Camp
“Beyond the Badge” Police Camp is an exciting opportunity for young women ages 14 to 21 who are passionate about pursuing a career in law enforcement. Participants will engage in light physical training, explore specialized units within the police force, and will gain valuable knowledge in law enforcement education through classroom presentations, hands-on learning, and real-life scenarios.
