SAVANNAH (Jan. 20) – Savannah Police Detectives are investigating a Jan. 20 shooting in the 1200 block of Newcastle Street that left two adult males with gunshot wounds.
SPD responded to the scene based on ShotSpotter reports at around 1:10 a.m. and discovered a vehicle that had collided with a fence. The vehicle was found to have suffered ballistic damage and the two occupants were injured. Police provided immediate medical assistance and the victims were transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020.
