SAVANNAH, GA (October 5, 2010): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police have charged four men suspected of having participated in the robbery of a credit union in Rincon with five robberies in Savannah as well.
Warrants for armed robbery have been secured against Luciano Ramone Moore, 26, of the 1500 block of Eleanor Drive, Rashamal Bradford, 19, of the 600 block of East 39th Street, Stafon Jamar Davis, 18, of the 600 block of East 39th Street and Jamal Chris Mitchell, 17, of the 700 block of East Bolton Street, according to SCMPD robbery detective Nathaniel Kirkland.
Davis, Bradford and Moore are in custody for the Sept. 21 robbery of the Geo Vista Credit Union in Rincon in which drivers of two getaway cars left the scene before picking up the robbers. Rincon police have charged Davis, Bradford and Moore, plus Antwon Johnall Proctor, 30, in that robbery. Proctor was questioned by SCMPD detectives and taken into custody for Rincon police but has not been charged in the string of Savannah robberies.
Moore has been implicated in five robberies, serving mainly as the driver and perhaps ringleader.
Bradford and Davis have been charged with the Sept. 20 robbery of First Credit Inc. of Georgia, on the 6400 block of Abercorn Street.
Davis and Mitchell are charged with the Aug. 24 robbery of Service Loans, 5500 block of Abercorn Street , and the Sept. 8 robbery of the Regal Cinema on the 1100 block of Shawnee Street.
Mitchell also is charged in the Sept. 1 robbery of the Day Finance Co., 500 block of East Broughton Street and the Aug. 3 robbery of Kirkland’s home store in the 5500 block of Abercorn.
The investigation is continuing into the robberies and other persons who might have been involved.
