SAVANNAH, GA (September 15, 2015): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Islands Precinct detectives arrested three suspects in multiple residential burglaries on Dutch Island, where beer and recreational equipment were stolen.
On Thursday, Sept. 10 with help from Dutch Island security officers, Metro located and arrested Jared Henry, Tristan Kim, and Louis Winters, who are all 19-years-old, for four burglaries and one burglary attempt.
At about 4 a.m. that day, occupants of a Settlers Point residence chased an unknown male subject holding a flashlight off of the property. The subject fled in a white Jeep Compass. Later that morning, burglaries were reported in 3 additional houses on Meriweather Drive and Blue Crab Point. An attempted burglary was reported nearby. Beer and sporting goods were stolen from each residence.
Investigators tracked the suspects and their vehicle containing most of the stolen items to a Wild Thistle Lane residence, where the suspects were visiting.
Each suspect is charged with 4 counts of burglary.
