SAVANNAH, GA (December 23, 2010): A 16-year-old is in critical condition after a shooting this morning following an altercation at a teen nightclub.
Michael Johnson received a life-threatening wound in the 3 a.m. shooting near Duffy and Abercorn streets.
The investigation indicates he was in an altercation with another youth at the Uptown Club and followed the other youth with a gun. At the shooting location, he fired at the other youth who’s 27-year-old brother returned the fire, striking Johnson.
He was transported to Memorial University Medical Center.
Names of other participants are being withheld pending the investigation.
