SAVANNAH, GA (July 9, 2021) – Savannah Police Department detectives are seeking to identify a man who stole a vehicle from an automobile dealership and then used the stolen vehicle to make several trips to steal additional items from the business.

An unknown man walked onto the property of Vaden Distribution Center, 1010 Lynes Ave., just before 8 a.m. June 20. He entered a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup on the lot and loaded the truck bed with items from the business. He left the property in the vehicle, returned after unloading the truck bed, and then loaded it again. The vehicle and stolen items, which included motors and a transmission that were collectively valued at more than $13,000, have not been recovered.

The suspect is described as a black male with a beard. At the time of the incident, he was wearing black shorts, a red shirt and a red bucket hat.
