UPDATE (November 4, 2021): SPD Arrests Suspect in Oct. 31 Homicide on Morekis Drive – SAVANNAH POLICE (savannahpd.org)

SAVANNAH, GA (November 1, 2021) – Savannah Police’s Criminal Investigations Division detectives are investigating a shooting that fatally wounded a 23-year-old male yesterday.

At around 1:20 p.m. on October 31, officers responded to the 100 block of Morekis Drive on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located Terrance Palmer, who was suffering from life-threatening shooting injuries. Palmer was transported to Memorial Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Detectives are actively investigating this case and do not believe this is a random incident.
