SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating a Feb. 13 fatal crash at Eisenhower Dr. and Waters Ave. that resulted in the death of an adult male pedestrian.
Officers responded to the scene at around 7:10 p.m. and discovered the victim. He was provided with initial medical care and transported to Memorial Health Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
An initial investigation showed the pedestrian was crossing the road outside of a crosswalk when he was struck by a car. The driver remained on scene.
