SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department has responded to a July 7 shooting in the 1200 block of E. 33rd St. that resulted in an adult male sustaining an injury to his upper leg.
At approximately 5:45 p.m., Eastside Precinct officers responded to a shooting in the area. Upon arrival, officers located the injured victim inside a residence. He was transported by EMS to Memorial Health University Medical Center for treatment.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
