SAVANNAH (Sept. 28) – Savannah Police Detectives are investigating a Sept. 28 shooting near the intersection of Carroll and Chambers Street that left one male victim wounded with a non-life-threatening injury.
At around 2:40 p.m. SPD officers responded to the scene and discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was treated and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center in stable condition.
Police are looking for a Grey Nissan Versa in connection with the shooting. The same vehicle may also have been involved in a hit-and-run incident that took place near the crime scene.
