SPD Obtains Arrest Warrants in Oglethorpe Mall Shooting (Updated)

Update: An adult male has been arrested in connection with the July 2 shooting at the Oglethorpe Mall.  He has been charged with murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and two counts of aggravated assault.  He was taken into custody on July 9 by the U.S. Marshals and has been transported to the Chatham County Detention Center.  To preserve the investigation of the case, the names and identities of those involved will not be released at this time, but additional details will be forthcoming.
