SAVANNAH – Savannah Police Detectives have arrested Raymond Washington, 24, and Antwon Fields, 21, in connection with a July 28 shooting at the 1300 block of Love Street that left one victim with non-life-threatening injuries.
At around 9:30 a.m. officers responded to the 1300 block of Love St. for a ShotSpotter report. Upon arrival, they discovered one adult male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to and released from Memorial Health.
Washington has been charged with aggravated assault x5, false imprisonment, and cruelty to children, among other charges. Fields has been charged with tampering with evidence and obstruction charges related to his detention. Additional charges may be forthcoming. The investigation is ongoing.
