SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department has arrested 47-year-old Devan Greene, Sr. in connection to an April 2 shooting in the 3700 block of Ogeechee Rd. that resulted in non-life-threatening injury to an adult male. Greene was taken into custody the same day.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the area at approximately 10:46 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim, who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm. He was transported by EMS to Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Initial investigation resulted in officers identifying a vehicle of interest. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, after which the individuals in the vehicle were detained and questioned. Following questioning, Greene was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
