Savannah – Edward King, 57, was arrested in connection with an Oct. 31 fatal shooting near the intersection of W. 34th Street and Ogeechee Rd. King was taken into custody on Nov. 1 and charged with murder.
Officers responded to the scene shortly before 1:30 p.m. based on ShotSpotter reports. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest. He was provided first aid and transported to Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
