SPD makes arrest in home invasion case

SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department arrested Tyrone Anthony, 27, in connection with a home invasion in the 500 block of Price Street. Anthony has been charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and home invasion.
Officers responded to reports of a home invasion on Jan. 11 at around 8:20 a.m. Once on the scene, police located the victim in his residence. The adult male was suffering from numerous headwounds and was transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center for treatment.
