SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department has arrested Messiah Holmes, 18, in connection to a shooting in the 20 block of Darling St. that left an adult male with a non-life-threatening injury.
On Sept. 27 at approximately 1:50 p.m., officers responded to the discharge of a firearm in the area. They discovered the victim later at Memorial Health University Medical Center, where he was being treated for a gunshot injury to his foot.
Holmes was apprehended on Oct. 9 with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals. He was charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, possession of a firearm in committing a crime, and possession of marijuana.
