SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department is investigating a June 16 shooting in the 2000 block of Capital St. that resulted in three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. An adult male and an adult female sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while another adult female sustained serious injuries.
At approximately 10:25 p.m., Eastside Precinct officers responded to the area based on ShotSpotter reports. On arrival, the three separate victims were located suffering from gunshot wounds. They were transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center for treatment.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
