SAVANNAH, GA (May 3, 2022) Savannah Police responded to the report of a shooting in the 2200 block of East 37th Street at approximately 12:00 a.m. Upon arrival to the scene officers located two adult male victims at the location.
Preliminary information from the scene suggests that the two victims observed an altercation between two unknown individuals. While the victims were checking on the wellbeing of one of these individuals, the other party in the altercation fired several rounds striking the victims.
One victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the other refused treatment for a minor graze wound.
SPD Aggravated Assault Detectives continue to conduct interviews and are analyzing additional evidence from the scene.
