SPD investigates Abercorn Street shooting

Update 6-26-23: SPD is seeking to identify and make contact with two individuals, pictured in the attached photo, who may have witnessed the homicide on June 22. Anyone with information can contact CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020.

SAVANNAH (June 23) – Savannah Police detectives are investigating a June 22 shooting at 1114 Abercorn Street that resulted in the death of an adult male. 

At approximately 10 p.m., officers responded to a convenience store located at 1114 Abercorn Street and discovered an adult male victim suffering from serious gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased upon arrival at the hospital.  Detectives continue to investigate the incident.
