SAVANNAH – Savannah Police Detectives are investigating an April 9 shooting in the 1600 block of West Gwinnett Street that left one adult male, one adult female, and one male juvenile with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
At around 5:30 p.m. officers arrived at the scene on reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers were informed by witnesses that an individual was observed limping away from the scene, indicating a possible shooting victim. Subsequent updates revealed that there were victims of gun violence located at Ogeechee Rd./37th Connector. Both victims were transported to a Memorial Health University Center and are currently in stable condition. Later, the third victim arrived at the hospital with a non-threatening gunshot wound.
