SAVANNAH (Nov. 28) – Savannah Police Detectives are investigating a Nov. 28 shooting near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and West 33rd Street that left one adult male victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
At 2 a.m. SPD officers responded to St. Joseph’s Candler Hospital on reports of a walk-in patient suffering for a gunshot wound. The victim stated he was shot while riding in a vehicle at the intersection of MLK Jr. and W. 38th Street. Police were told the shots originated from another vehicle at the intersection. Details of the incident are still being investigated by detectives.
